Neighbourhood Watch

We have a Neighbourhood Watch running in Twyning, and although the Police are in the process of changing responsibilities around - and this has caused a hiatus in the supply of regular information - our local coordinator, Dennis Harvey still manages to get out approproate warnings to keep us all aware. If you have an incident and want to make contact with him, EMAIL here

I received a report from one of our members over the weekend concerning a daylight break in at a house in Hillend. I understand that a laptop and other items were taken. I will try and get further information from the police.

I have received a report today from one of our members concerning two very recent incidents. I do not have precise details of dates and times. A cottage at Brook Close, Hill End Common, had a piece of concrete thrown through the window. I understand that the elderly resident lives on her own. If anybody has more details of this incident please let me know and I will pass them on. Two caravans on the holiday caravan park in Fleet Lane, adjacent to The Fleet pub, were entered by having the doors broken. A television set was taken from one of them. Again I have no further details.
