The Housing Group, headed by Phil Griffin is looking at the vernacular style in the Village and will be creating a series of policies that will determine how a house shoulsd look if it is built in Twyning. The purpose is to maintain the look and feel of the village as it is and allow it to grow organically without developers building "stnadard - off the shelf" designs that are more suitable for Milton Keynes that a rural village like Twyning.

photographic survey of local housing has been carried out and will form the basis of a consultation with local residents about the village they want to see.
