Happy New Year to our reader
We all hope you had a great Christmas, and are enjoying this week - whether working or not - and that 2019 brings for you everything you could wish for.
The Parish will no doubt have more contentious planning applications to consider, and more issues in the village to consider appropriate actions for, and we would welcome your presence at the Council meetings in 2019. Your views are important and you will have the opportunity to air them before and after the formal meeting.
2019 is also the year that local elections take place. This means the Parish Council all stand down in May and are re-elected. This is either in an election if more than 9 stand, or those who stand are elected by default if less than 9 stand. In that case a coption will take place to bring the complement up to 9. So this is your opportunity to stand up and be counted. There have been criticisms of the Council's decisions this year and this is how you can change them for the future. So we look forward to some new faces appearing on the hustings!
