Housing Needs Survey
In January 2017 Twyning Parish Council agreed to engage the services of the Rural Housing Enabler to carry out a local Housing Needs Survey. This was done during February and March 2017 and a report was delivered to the Parish at the recent Parish Assembly. The report said that
there was a need for 15 Affordable houses in the village for people living here and wanting independent living, or who were already on the Tewkesbury Housing list.
It is clear that younger people in the village want to stay here, as well as older ones who may need to down-size. The report suggests a number of options for those in need, and now that the HNS has been completed, it allows those villagers who have land that is appropriate for so building, an opportunity to further the needs of others.
